The Toyota Crown has been a historic nameplate for the manufacturer; it hasn't been available in the US for about 50 years. It has been an icon in the Japanese market. Toyota Crown XLE Trim
The Crown XLE is the base model, but even so, it comes with a good amount of standard options. The XLE comes standard with a 2.5-liter hybrid engine and a CVT transmission. Toyota's Electronic On-Demand All-Wheel Drive is also standard. Drivers have the option between Normal, Eco, and Sport driving modes. This gives the driver more control over how the car performs. The XLE has a stylish exterior with 19-inch alloy wheels, Smart Key keyless entry with touch sensor front-door handles, and trunk release. It also comes with bi-LED projector high- and low-beam headlights and power-folding heated side mirrors.
The interior is sophisticated, with two 12-inch color display screens, one for the instrument cluster and one for the multimedia system. The digital multi-information gauge cluster has configurable screens. The driver can decide what they want to see on the screen. Additional standard equipment includes 8-way power and heated front seats. The driver's seat has power lumbar support and a tilt/telescoping steering wheel.
The standard multimedia system is a 6-speaker audio system, wireless connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus SiriusXM satellite radio. The Crown comes with Toyota Safety Sense (TSS) 3.0 standard. This suite of driver safety systems includes forward collision warning with pedestrian and cyclist detection. It also has an intersection assist, lane-departure warning with steering assist, automatic emergency braking, and automatic high-beam headlights.

Toyota Crown Limited Trim
The Limited trim level has upgraded LED headlights and a glass roof panel. At this trim level, the cabin upgrades to a leather-trimmed upholstery with ventilated front and heated rear seats. The Smart Key system upgrades to cover all four doors. This trim has rain-sensing wipers. It comes with ambient LED lighting to provide illumination for the footwells, interior door handles, cup holders, and USB ports.
The audio system is upgraded to an 11-speaker JBL audio system. The Limited has all the safety features that come with the XLE, with some extra upgrades. It has front and rear parking sensors and automatic braking in reverse. The Limited trim can be upgraded with the Advanced Technology Package. This package adds a 360-degree Panoramic View Monitor, 21-inch alloy wheels, and Toyota Digital Key that turns your smartphone into a key.

Toyota CrownĀ PlatinumĀ Trim
The Platinum trim is the top of the line trim level. This trim level has a Hybrid Max powertrain. This comes with a turbocharged 2.4-liter engine. This engine has a 6-speed transmission and Full-Time Electronic AWD drive electric motors. These motors boost horsepower and performance. This trim level has a variable adaptive suspension that adapts to changing road conditions and driving characteristics. This trim level comes with six driving modes, including a Sport+ mode. The Sport+ mode has a sharper throttle response and maximum torque to give the Crown quick acceleration.Ā
The Platinum trim has all the features offered at the Limited trim level with some nice upgrades. This trim adds a 360-degree Panoramic View Monitor and the Advanced Park self-parking system. The Advanced Park system is a self-parking system that takes over the work of parallel or perpendicular parking. The Panoramic View Monitor provides cameras on all four sides. This monitor can display an image at any point adjacent to the car. It can also create a bird's-eye 360-degree top-view image.
This system automatically operates the shifter, steering, brakes, and accelerator. This trim also offers an optional paint upgrade with a two-tone paint treatment. The hood, rear deck, roof, and taillight trim are painted gloss black.Ā
