The 2023 Toyota Corolla is a budget-friendly sedan that looks good, offers ride comfort, and has great fuel efficiency. The new GR Corolla hot hatch is available this year, though the L and XLE trims and the 1.8L engine have all been discontinued for 2023. The 2023 Corolla is powered by a 2.0L four-cylinder engine with FWD, though the GR Crolla features a 1.6L 3-cylinder turbocharged engine and AWD.
Technology Highlights
The Toyota Corolla features a user-friendly infotainment system with an 8-inch touchscreen that is standard across all trims. A Wi-Fi hotspot and HD radio, along with multiple USB ports and Bluetooth connectivity are standard. An upgrade from the six-speaker to an eight- or nine-speaker audio system is available, along with automatic climate control, a digital gauge cluster, and a moonroof. The 2023 sedan also receives new safety tech upgrades.
Design & Styling
The interior features soft-touch plastics and padded surfaces. Although the 2023 Toyota Corolla is not the largest in terms of cargo space, it features more than enough for a compact car like this. The rear seats can also be folded down for longer items to be transported. The 2023 Corolla is available with two new exterior paint colors: Midnight Black Metallic and Underground.
